Madhav is an award-winning cinematographer who knows how to capture stunning visuals. An avid long-distance runner, having a beautiful journey is as important to him as finishing it.
With a knack for storytelling, Madhav has received accolades for his cinematography at events like the Stormy Weather Horror Fest and Underwirefest. His work has been showcased at famous film festivals such as Fantasia, Atlanta, Miscon, S.O.U.L, Sci-Fi and Fantasy - Genre Lab, Ramsgate International Film and TV, and Cardiff Mini film festivals.
Madhav studied contemporary screen narratives and cinematography at Goldsmiths University, UK, and visual communications at the College of Art, New Delhi, India.
However, his creative journey began even earlier, in school, when he started designing coffee table books and performing as a tenor in the Delhi Youth Chorus. He also holds a degree in Tabla, an Indian percussion instrument.
It was during his time as a journalism apprentice at NDTV that he discovered his true passion for bringing stories to life through the medium of film and video. Now, as a freelancer, Madhav collaborates with various brands and startups, infusing his projects with his unique creative flair.
Madhav has also explored parkour and embraced distance running and climbing, and as an endurance athlete, he is skilled at the art of sustained attention, always motivated to push for that extra mile.
In his free time, Madhav immerses himself in non-fiction books on moral philosophy, evolutionary biology, meditation and rationality, trying to expand his grasp of the world. These subjects have become his passion and serve as the foundation for his creative choices, ensuring a purposeful and thoughtful approach to his work.
